বাসর ঘরে - In the living room

নতুন বউ বাসর ঘরে বসে আছে।
আমি দরজা আটকে খাটে গিয়ে বসলাম।
কি করবো বুঝতে পারছি না।
অবশেষে খাট থেকে একটা চাদর নিয়ে মেঝেতে শুয়ে পড়লাম।
এমন হুট করে বিয়ে মেনে নিতে আমার কষ্ট হচ্ছে।

আমাকে না জানিয়ে বিয়ের দিন তারিখ ঠিক করেছে আমার পরিবার।
বিয়ের ৩ দিন আগে আমায় দেখতে পাঠাতে চেয়েছিল মেয়ের বাড়ি।
আমি কষ্টভরা কন্ঠে বলে দিয়েছিলাম বিয়ের দিনতারিখ ঠিক করার আগেই যখন "আমাকে মেয়ে দেখানোর প্রয়োজন মনে করোনি" এখন আর দেখে কি লাভ?
অবশেষে বাধ্যতামুলক বিয়েটা করে ফেললাম।

আমি অপরদিকে মাথা দিয়ে শুয়ে রয়েছি মেঝেতে।
প্রায় ঘন্টাখানেক অতিবাহিত হয়ে গেছে।
আমি তিনটা সিগারেট শেষ করে আরেকটা ধরিয়েছি।
সাধারনত আমি সিগারেট খাইনা।

বন্ধুদের পাল্লায় পড়ে মাঝে মধ্যে ২/১ টা খাই।
কিন্তু আজ বাসর ঘরে ঢোকার আগেই নানান চিন্তা ভাবনা মাথার উপর এসে ভর করে।
যার জন্য এক প্যাকেট কিনে নিয়ে ঢুকেছি।
এই সিগারেটে কয়েকটা টান দিতেই মনে হলো আমার বিয়ে করা বউটা খাট থেকে নামছে!😱
কারন পায়ের নুপুরের শব্দ পাচ্ছি।

আমি আগের মতোই চুপ করে শুয়ে আছি।
হঠাৎ সে এসে আমার পাশে বসলো মেঝেতে।
আমার কপালে একটা হাত বুলিয়ে বলল কি হয়েছে তোমার?
আমি কি বলবো বুঝতে পারছি না।
মাথাটা একটু ঘুরিয়ে তাকালাম আমার বউয়ের দিকে।
দেখে আমার চোখ দুটো কপালে উঠে গেল!
মানুষ এতোটা সুন্দর হতে পারে?!
আমি উঠে বসলাম।

মেয়েটা আমার চেয়ে থাকা দেখে লজ্জায় মাথা নিচু করে আছে।
-তুমি গিয়ে খাটে শুয়ে পড়ো। (আমি)
-তুমিও খাটে গিয়ে শুয়ে পড়ো। (বউ)
-না' আমি নিচেই শুয়ে থাকবো। তুমি খাটে গিয়ে শোও।
-তাহলে আমিও নিচে শোবো তোমার পাশে।
কি আর করবো? বাধ্য হয়েই খাটে গিয়ে শুয়ে পড়লাম।
চুপ করে শুয়ে আছি অপরদিকে মুখ করে।
মেয়েটি এসে শুয়ে পড়লো।

তার শরীরের অলংকার গুলো নড়ছে এবং শব্দ হচ্ছে।
একটুপর শব্দ কমে গেল।
-আমি কি শরীরের গয়নাগাটি খুলতে পারি? (বউ)
-তুমি যা ইচ্ছা তাই করো সমস্যা নাই। (আমি)
-সত্যি তো? রাগ করবে না তো?
-আরে নাহ।

এরপর আবার শব্দ শুরু হলো।
বুঝলাম শরীরে ওতো গয়না নিয়ে শুয়ে থাকা ওর ঝামেলা হচ্ছিলো।
একটুপর আবার শব্দ কমে গেল।
আসলে গভীর রাতে একটু শব্দ হলেই কানে বেশি লাগে।
হঠাৎ মনে হলো কিছু একটা আমার ওপাশে হাত বাড়িয়ে রাখলো মেয়েটা।
আমি যেহেতু ওপাশেই মুখ করে শুয়ে আছি তাই চোখ মেলে তাকালাম।
ঝাপসা আলোয় যা দেখলাম তা দেখে আমার চোখ কপালে উঠে গেল!
মেয়েটা শাড়ি খুলে রেখেছে ওখানে।

-শাড়ি গয়না এগুলা এতো বিরক্তিকর আগে জানতাম না।
এখন এসব খুলে কতো সুন্দর লাগছে।
এই বলে মেয়েটি আমায় পেছন থেকে জড়িয়ে ধরলো।
আমি পাথরের মূর্তির মতো চুপ করে আছি।
জীবনের প্রথম কোন মেয়ে মানুষের জড়িয়ে ধরায় আমার শরীরের লোম দাড়িয়ে গেছে।
ভয়েই কি লজ্জায় আমার শরীর শীতল হয়ে কাঁপছে।
-এই কি করছো এসব?

-আমার স্বামীকে আমি জড়িয়ে ধরেছি।
আর তুমিই তো বললে আমার যা ইচ্ছা আমি তাই করতে পারি।
তাই জড়িয়ে ধরেছি।
এখন লক্ষি ছেলের মতো চুপটি করে ঘুমাও।
এই বলে মেয়েটি আমায় জড়িয়ে ধরে রইলো।
এরপর এটা ওটা ভাবতে ভাবতে কখন ঘুমিয়ে পড়েছি নিজেও জানিনা।
ভোরে ঘুম ভাঙ্গলো কারো পানির ছিটায়। চেয়ে দেখি সেই মিষ্ট মেয়েটা (বউ) আমার মুখে পানি ছিটিয়ে দিয়ে খিলখিল করে হাসছে।

কি অদ্ভুত ধরনের হাসি!
এই মেয়ের সামনে যদি কোন কবি থাকতো তবে সাথে সাথে একটা কবিতা লিখে ফেলতো।
-কি মশাই উঠবেন নাকি টেনে তুলতে হবে?
-হা উঠতেছি।
বিছানা থেকে উঠে হাত, মুখ ধুয়ে বের হলাম রাস্তায়।
রাস্তায় এসে মোবাইলটা বের করে জুঁই এর নাম্বারে ডায়াল করলাম।
কিন্তু জুঁই এর নাম্বার বন্ধ।

না জানি জুঁই কতোটা কষ্ট পেয়েছে আমার বিয়ের কথা শুনে।
পাগলের মতো জুঁই আর আমি দুজন, দুজনকে ভালোবেসেছি।
কিন্তু আমাদের এই ভালোবাসার কথা মা, বাবাকে জানানোর পরেও তারা এই বিয়েটাই করালো আমায়।

আরো কয়েকবার ট্রাই করার পরও জুঁই নাম্বারে সংযোগ পেলাম না।
মনটা ভার করে পুকুর পাড়ের আম গাছটার নিচে বসে আছি।
হঠাৎ অপরিচিত নাম্বার থেকে কল আসলো মোবাইলে।
রিসিভ করতেই ওপাশ থেকে বলল...
-কোথায় এখন তুমি?

-পুকুর পাড়ে। আপনি কে?
-আমার নাম মৌ। তাড়াতাড়ি তোমাদের বাড়িতে আসো।
